Minutes of Board of Review
June 10, 2025, 6:00 p.m. 
Dewey Town Hall

1. The Board of Review was opened by the Town Chair and called to order at 6:00 p.m.

​2. Notice to silence cell phones and other electronic devices.
3. BOR Roll Call of BOR Members present was conducted including Duane Johnson, Jeff Strellecht, Shorty Crosby, and David Coon, town clerk.
4. On nominations made, Shorty Crosby was selected Chair and Jeff Stellrecht as Vice-Chair for BOR.
5. It was verified that David Coon as a BOR member had met the annual mandatory training requirements and filed an affidavit with the Department of Revenue.
6. It was verified that the Town of Dewey has an ordinance for the confidentiality of income and expense information provided to the Assessor under state law (Wis. Stat. s 70.47(7)(af)).
7. Any Filling of the Annual Assessment report completed.
8. The assessment roll was received by the Clerk from the Assessor.
9. The Assessment Roll was discussed, and no corrections were noted.
10. Assessment data was available, but no taxpayers appeared to review it.
11. There were no Notices of Intent to Object or other requests and statutory matters presented.
12. The BOR was recessed at 7:00 p.m. until the call of the Chair on a Johnson/Stellrecht motion.
13. The BOR was brought back into session on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion at 8:00 p.m.
14. It was noted that there were no additional appearances by any taxpayers for the BOR. There was no need to schedule additional BOR Dates.
15. BOR Adjourned at 8:01 pm on a Johnson/Stellrecht motion.
