Town Board Meeting Minutes
 

1. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Duane Johnson.  Others present were Supervisors Jeff Stellrecht and Gary Crosby, Treasurer Donna Meeds, and David Coon, Clerk. Nine town residents also attended.*

​NOTICE IS HEREY GIVEN that a town board meeting for the Town of Dewey in the County of Burnett, State of Wisconsin, for transaction of business as is required by law or permitted to be transacted at said meeting, will be held at the Dewey Town Hall, 24433 Town Hall Rd., Hertel, WI, in said town on June 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.  Agenda for said meeting is as follows and was posted one (1) day prior to meeting.

June 10, 2025, 6:00 p.m. and for two hours after start time
Dewey Town Hall
24433 Town Hall Rd., Hertel, WI

1. Open Board of Review by Town Chair and call to order.
2. Notice to silence cell phones and other electronic devices.
3. BOR Roll Call of BOR Members present.
4. Select Chair and Vice-Chair for BOR.
5. Verify that at least one BOR member has met the annual mandatory training requirements.
6. Verify that Dewey has an ordinance for the confidentiality of income and expense information provided to the Assessor under state law (Wis. Stat. s 70.47(7)(af)).
7. Filing and summary of Annual Assessment Report by Assessor’s Office.
8. Receipt of the assessment roll by the Clerk from the Assessor.
9. Review the Assessment Roll and act on any corrections.
10. Allow taxpayers to examine assessment data.
11. Review Notices of Intent to Object if any as well as other requests and statutory matters.
12. Consider scheduling additional BOR Date(s) if needed.
13. Adjourn.
