Town Hall Usage Any and/or all town residents can use the town hall at no cost except for the following. 1. Cleaning – after use of town hall if any additional cleaning is need, the town resident who reserved the hall will be invoice a minimum fee of $100 unless cost of clean up is more than the minimum fee, then the actual cost of clean up will be invoice to the town resident. 2. Damage – any damage to the town hall will be invoice to the town resident who reserved the hall with a minimum fee of $100 unless cost of damage is more then the minimum fee, then the actual cost of repairs will be invoice to the town resident. 3. All Town Property is to remain in the Town Hall. If any Town Property is missing or damaged the replacement cost of property will be invoice to the town resident who reserved the hall. Town Property includes but not limited to chairs and tables. 4. If Cleaning and/or damage fees are not paid within 30 days, then the fee(s) will be added to the town resident’s property tax statement as a special charge. 5. When using the Town Hall and property in the Town Hall, such as tables and chairs, they shall return them to where they found them, and not block any interior doors or restrooms. NOTICE IS HEREY GIVEN that a town board meeting for the Town of Dewey in the County of Burnett, State of Wisconsin, for transaction of business as is required by law or permitted to be transacted at said meeting, will be held at the Dewey Town Hall, 24433 Town Hall Rd., Hertel, WI, in said town on July 7, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. Agenda for said meeting is as follows and was posted prior to meeting.
Settlers Day Picnic August 15, 2026 Dewey Town Hall
Dear Residents of the Town of Dewey: The Town Board and residents are hosting a Settlers Day Picnic on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Dewey Town Hall, 24433 Town Hall Rd., Hertel, WI, for Town residents. Bret Iverson will be making sloppy joes. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to pass, such as salads, chips, and desserts. However, please feel free to attend even if you are unable to bring a dish. To help with planning, please RSVP to Bret Iverson by Monday, August 10, 2026, by email at [email protected] or by phone at 920-590-0636. The meal and social time will begin at 12:00 noon and conclude at 2:00 p.m. Come celebrate 250th anniversary of our great country, meet your neighbors, and enjoy fellowship in our 122-year agricultural community.
