Town of Dewey April 15, 2025 Town Board Meeting Minutes
2. All parties present were notified to silence cell phones and other devices.
3. Public Comment: There was discussion regarding the ADA review of the Town Hall at one of the elections. Mark Melton was thanked for his road work. 4. Written oaths for the town officials elected in the April election were completed. 5. The Minutes of the March 11, 2025, town board meeting were approved on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion. 6. The Minutes of the Spring Road Inspection Meeting were approved on a Stellrecht/Crosby motion. 7. The Treasurers’ report was read and reviewed. 8. The Financial review was conducted. 9. The ambulance contract extension was reviewed and approved on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion. 10. The recommendations and the resolution of the ADA review from the Spring Primary was reviewed. 11. Road Maintenance Report: Another hole on Town Hall Rd. will be filled. It is hoped that work on the bridge can be done this summer. A meeting about plans for the bridge repair will be held soon. The road ban ends on Thursday. An extra stop sign and hidden driveway on old 70 was discussed. 12. Other Business: There is a Wisconsin Election Commission conference in the Fall for clerks. Reporting deadline for COVID funds is coming up and being worked on to get finished Some cracks on Sand Rd. were discussed. Also, it was discussed that the school referendum failed in the Spring Election. 13. Monthly correspondence reviewed. 14. Approval of monthly expenditures. Stellrecht/Crosby motion to approve checks #10688 to #10710 in the amount of $23,186.34, was approved. 15. May 13, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. was set for the next Board Meeting. 16.
