Town Board Meeting Minutes
 

1. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Duane Johnson.  Others present were Supervisors Jeff Stellrecht and Gary Crosby, Treasurer Donna Meeds (by telephone for the Treasurer’s Report), and David Coon, Clerk. One town resident also attended.*

​2. All parties present were notified to silence cell phones and other devices.
3. Public Comment: None.
4. The Minutes of the November 4, 2025, town board meeting were approved as amended on a Stellrecht/Crosby motion.
5. The Treasurer’s report was read and reviewed. A motion was made to pay $100,000 towards the road projects loan. Approved on a Crosby/Stellrecht Motion.
6. The Financial review was conducted.
7. A Draft of a Town Travel and Reimbursement Policy. A motion was made to adopt with amendments and passed on a Stellrecht/Crosby motion.
8. A review of the 2026 Election Calendar was conducted.
9. A list of Election Inspectors for 2026-2027 was approved on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion. Chair Johnson abstained from the vote.
10. Road Maintenance Report: We have received the mower motor. There is an upcoming presentation about spraying weeds rather than mowing. The County can be hired to do the work.
11. Clerks Report: As opposed to last year, the total property taken from the town appears to be flat rather than going up. Individual properties may vary.
12. Monthly correspondence reviewed.
13. Approval of monthly expenditures. Stellrecht/Crosby motion to approve checks #10777 to #10789 in the amount of $21,357.95, was passed.
14. The next meeting was tentatively set for either January 6 or 7, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
15. A Crosby/Stellrecht motion was approved to suspend the regular meeting to convene a closed session in accordance with WI Statute 19.85 (1)(C) to consider employee promotion, compensation and performance. 
16. Regular meeting was reconvened after closed session. A Crosby/Stellrecht motion to adopt action taken in closed session was passed.
17. The Meeting was adjourned at 8:01 p.m. on a Stellrecht/Crosby motion.
