Town Board Meeting Minutes
 

1. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Duane Johnson.  Others present were Supervisors Steve Dahlstrom and Gary Crosby, Treasurer Donna Meeds, and David Coon, Clerk. Two town residents also attended.*

​2. All parties present were notified to silence cell phones and other devices.
3. Public Comment: The Bernecker’s noted that Diane Hulleman was wondering why she had an increased property value assessment. It was advised that she should contact the Town Assessor with any questions related to property valuation.
4. The Minutes of the January 16, 2025, the town board meeting were approved on a Crosby/Dahlstrom motion.
5. The Minutes of the January 16, 2025, Town Caucus were approved on a Dahlstrom/Crosby motion.
6. The Treasurers’ report was read and reviewed. 
7. The Financial review was conducted.
8. The request by Mosaic Technologies for support for their application for a high-speed Internet grant was discussed. The Town will support any business that seeks such a grant but will not endorse any particular business. This position was approved on a Dahlstrom/Crosby motion.
9. The date of the Annual Meeting will be April 15, 2025. 
10. Road Maintenance Report: Due to an emergency, the maintenance supervisor was unavailable. It was noted by Town Chair Johnson that the new truck appears to be doing well with clearing snow. Road Supervisor Melton may swap the plow wing from the old truck to the new as it may work better for some of the plowing he needs to accomplish.
11. Other Business: It was discussed whether the Town would want to add a section to the Town website related to the Town’s policy as to plowing. It would also be good to review state statutes on the issue.
12. Monthly correspondence reviewed.
13. Approval of monthly expenditures. Crosby/Dahlstrom motion to approve checks #10657 to #10671 in the amount of $495,108.70. A Dahlstrom/Crosby motion was approved.
14. March 11, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. was set for the next Board Meeting. 
15. The Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m. on a Crosby/Dahlstrom motion.
