Town Board Meeting Minutes
 

1. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Duane Johnson.  Others present were Supervisor Jeff Stellrecht and Gary Crosby, Treasurer Donna Meeds, and David Coon, Clerk. Four town residents also attended.*

​2. All parties present were notified to silence cell phones and other devices.
3. Public Comment: There was discussion regarding the Shell Lake School Referendum.
4. The Minutes of the January 13, 2026, town board meeting were approved on a Stellrecht/Crosby motion.
5. The Treasurer’s report was read and reviewed.
6. The Financial review was conducted.
7. There was a request to start a petty cash fund for the Treasurer to make change for cash payments. A motion passed on a Crosby/Stellrecht to approve the fund of $150 to be accounted for in the Treasurer’s Report.
8. It was discussed that there will likely be an upcoming request to change properties from A-1 to A-5 Zoning.
9. Road Maintenance Report: There has been a break in the weather, so getting projects done.
10. Clerks Report was given.
11. Monthly correspondence reviewed.
12. Approval of monthly expenditures. A motion to approval to payment, as amended, checks #10802 to #10814 in the amount of $23,900.40, was passed on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion.
13. The next meeting was set for March 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
14. The Meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m. on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion.
