Town Board Meeting Minutes

1. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Duane Johnson.  Others present were Supervisors Jeff Stellrecht and Gary Crosby, Treasurer Donna Meeds, and David Coon, Clerk. Three town residents also attended.*

​2. All parties present were notified to silence cell phones and other devices.
3. Public Comment: None. 
4. The Minutes of the May 13, 2025, town board meeting were approved on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion.
5. The Treasurers’ report was read and reviewed. 
6. The Financial review was conducted. The amount of the Road Fund loan was discussed and will be double checked.
7. The Alcohol License Renewal Applications and Operator Licenses were reviewed. Approved on a Crosby/Stellrecht Motion.
8. Discussion was had regarding buying a new laptop for the Town as the current one is out of date and will not upgrade to Windows 11. Clerk was authorized to spend up to $1650 for a new computer and set-up on a Stellrecht/Crosby Motion. 
9. Road Maintenance Report: The paving of Williams Road was discussed as well as recent rain and grading. The shouldering on Williams Road should be done soon. Mowing in the Town is being done.
10. Other Business: The Elections Commission accepted our resolutions to ADA issues and an order has been placed for some free traffic cones and other items. The Town received a small amount of unclaimed property from DOR. A suggestion was made that a portion of Sand Road should be reviewed for higher priority in future roadwork. 
11. Monthly correspondence reviewed.
12. Approval of monthly expenditures. Crosby/Stellrecht motion to approve checks #10721 to #10729 in the amount of $22,785.61, was passed.
13. July 8 2025, at 7:00 p.m. was set for the next Board Meeting. 
14. The Meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m. on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion.
