Town Board Meeting Minutes
 

1. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Duane Johnson.  Others present were Supervisors Steve Dahlstrom and Gary Crosby, Treasurer Donna Meeds, and David Coon, Clerk. Four town residents also attended.*

      2. All parties present were notified to silence cell phones and other devices.
     3. Public Comment: It was discussed that the April 1 election would have a Shell Lake School referendum and local elections.
    4. The Minutes of the February 12, 2025, town board meeting were approved on a Dahlstrom/Crosby motion.
     5. The Treasurers’ report was read and reviewed.
  6. The Financial review was conducted. There was a Crosby/Dahlstrom motion approved to pay $37,945 toward the operations loan.
    7. Road Maintenance Report: The roads are soft due to thawing and repairs are being done to the truck. The hydrology study for the Town Hall Road bridge should be done soon and will hopefully recommend culverts. There are some dips in the north side of Swiss Chalet Road that should be looked at soon.
    8. Other Business: An ADA report from the February Spring Primary was received and will be reviewed. Some refunds came in and have been given to the treasurer. It was noted that the new A-5 Zoning Classification is moving forward and will have a public hearing on April 1st. There was discussion about repainting the sign above the Town Hall door and looking into some cracks on Sand Road.
    9. Monthly correspondence reviewed.
  10. Approval of monthly expenditures. Crosby/Dahlstrom motion to approve checks #10672 to #10687 in the amount of $13,048.88. A Dahlstrom/Crosby motion was approved.
    11. April 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. was set for the next Board Meeting.
    12. The Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. on a Crosby/Dahlstrom motion.
