Town Board Meeting Minutes
 

1. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Duane Johnson. Others present were Supervisor Jeff Stellrecht and Gary Crosby, Treasurer Donna Meeds, and David Coon, Clerk. Four town residents were also in attendance.* 

​2. All parties present were notified to silence cell phones and other devices. 
3. Public Comment: None. 
4. The Minutes of the April 21, 2026, town board meeting were approved on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion. 
5. The Minutes of the Spring Road Inspection were approved on a Stellrecht/Crosby motion. 
6. The Treasurer’s report was read and reviewed. 
7. The Financial review was conducted. 
8. An ordinance regarding Alternate Board of Review Members was considered and approved on a Stellrecht/Crosby motion. 
9. The ML Holst LLC/Morris Holst re-zoning request for parcels with Tax ID #3483 and 3484 was reviewed. The Town Board approved recommending the request to re-zone the parcels from A-1 to A-5 on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion. 
10. The request from Mark Melton for a Town letter of no objection regarding a proposed two-acre parcel division at 1570 County Road B was discussed. On a Crosby/Stellrecht motion, it was approved that the County Zoning Department would be contacted and advised that there is no objection to splitting off two acres as proposed. 
11. The new Road Fund Loan was reviewed. A motion was approved on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion for a loan in the amount of $300,000. 
12. The proposed amendment to the Town Hall Use Policy was reviewed and approved on a Stellrecht/Crosby motion. 
13. Road Maintenance Report: Swiss Chalet Road is almost done being re-paved. The grader has a rearend leak. It needs work and pricing it out. The leak needs to be fixed and the grader transported for repair. It will be an expense. It may be okay to just continue filling it for now, but will look at other repair places in the meantime. There is a new brake booster for the truck. We are quoting out a new box for the truck.
14. Clerk’s Report was given noting that BOR and Open Book are coming up soon, discussed the possible town picnic, and that the Clerk would be spending a couple weeks on other matters.
15. Monthly correspondence reviewed. 
16. Approval of monthly expenditures. Checks #10851 through #10861 in the amount of $21,598.31 were approved on a Stellrecht/Crosby motion. 
17. The next meeting was set for June 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. 
18. The Meeting was adjourned at 8:02 p.m. on a Crosby/Stellrecht motion.
