Spring Road Inspection Minutes

The Dewey Town board met at 9:05 April 19th for the annual spring road inspection.  The following deductions and plans were discussed:

            2023:
Threshold Lane- large pothole needs repair
Williams Rd. -pulverize and gravel per accepted bid
Spaulding Rd.- apply 2 loads of gravel East of intersection with King Rd.
Poquette Lake Rd.- blade patch intersection with Lakeview Church Rd., crack seal starting at Co. Rd. B going north approx. ¼ mile to end of new pavement, install new culvert just north of bridge over Bashaw Creek through the field driveway with owner’s permission 
Lakeview Church Rd.- crack seal ¼ mile going East from Co. Rd. H
Swiss Chalet Rd.- crack seal approx. ¼ mile, starting 100' West of Spears driveway, going East to end of new pavement
Spring Lake Rd.- crack seal ¼ mile, starting at Sand Rd. and going North
Hilltop Rd.- apply 4" gravel starting at Dewey Town line, going West down the hill to Crosby heifer shed
Sand Rd.- dig out 2 clay pockets and fill with sand, replace culvert just West of Erickson/Crosby driveway, remove small hump in ditch on South side of Western clay pocket, blade patch over new culvert East of H, cut several overhanging limbs East of H, pave and shoulder per accepted bid, boom saw South side (budget dependent)
Town Hall Rd.- boom saw South of Carl Meister farm (budget dependent)
Dewey Town Hall- install new roof vents
Dewey Town Shop- do ridge cap repairs to prevent further leaks
Town Chair will apply for LRIP grant for Swiss Chalet Rd.
 
         2024
Town Hall Rd.- replace bridge crossing Bashaw Creek
Williams Rd.- cut back trees on west side
Lyle Atkinson Lane- apply 2" gravel
Bashaw Lake Rd.- apply 2" gravel
Gravel Knoll Rd.- apply 4" gravel starting at Jack Soelle driveway going north to Sand Rd.
Sand Rd.- crack seal ¼ mile starting at H and going East to end of new pavement
Spring Lake Rd.- blade patch new culvert at intersection of Sand Rd.
Spring Lake Rd. and Lakeview Church Rd.- continue crack sealing
 
2025 and beyond
Town Hall Rd.- apply 4" gravel starting at Dewey hall going North to highway 70
Bashaw Lake Rd.- boom saw
Spring Lake Rd. and Lakeview Church Rd.- continue crack sealing
