Town of Dewey Accepting Bids

Requesting bids for the following:
 
Chip seal/fog seal Sand Road from Bakker Road to Spring Lake Road - 1 mile
Chip seal/fog seal Spring Lake Road from Sand Road to Swiss Chalet Rd -1 mile
Chip seal/fog seal Swiss Chalet Road starting at Spring Lake Road and going west approximately ½ mile

 
The work shall meet the requirements of section 475 of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard specifications for Construction, latest edition, and as supplemented herein.  Emulsified Asphalt shall be CRS-2 or CRS-2P.  Cover aggregate shall be FA-2 or FA-2.5 and must be at least 80% with at least one fractured face.  The contractor shall furnish the Town with a sieve analysis of the aggregate and seal coast design, per MN/RC-206-34, to be used on the project prior to starting work.  Bids will include sweeping before and after application.
 
All bids shall include proof of insurance.
All bids must be submitted to town chairman by 4:00 pm May 6, 2022.
All projects must be completed by August 15, 2022.
Budders shall separate each road cost in their bid, and then give a final bid total.
