The Annual Meeting was held at Dewey Town Hall. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Duane Johnson. Others present where Supervisors Steve Dahlstrom and Shorty Crosby, Treasurer Donna Meeds and Clerk Rochelle Becker. Also present where 18 town residents and 2 non residents*. The minutes of the April 12, 2022 annual meeting were read and approved on a Dahlstrom/Crosby motion. Motion carried.
2022 Review with no questions asked. Public comments on zoning and Capital purchases. An informal vote of those present in the room passed overwhelmingly, with one opposed, to put in our comprehensive zoning plan that Dewey opposes acreage divisions smaller than 39/1 per 40 acres. Capital purchases discussed and it was agreed to levy a tax for road equipment upgrade. Meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm on a Dahlstrom/Crosby motion. Motion carried. Comments are closed.
